Stepping into Orexi Souvlaki Bar, you’re immediately greeted by the warm, friendly ambiance of the restaurant. The vibrant yet casual setting complements the fresh ingredients used in every dish. The focal point of the menu is, of course, the souvlaki - an iconic Greek dish that combines tender meat, aromatic spices, and fresh vegetables all wrapped in soft pita bread. You can choose from a variety of meats, including lamb, chicken, and pork, each cooked to perfection and accompanied by classic sides like tzatziki, chips, and a variety of salads.

One standout offering at Orexi is their lamb souvlaki. The lamb is marinated in a blend of herbs and spices, creating a mouthwatering taste that’s both rich and flavorful. Paired with a dollop of tzatziki sauce, each bite is a perfect balance of savory and refreshing. For those who prefer something lighter, the chicken souvlaki provides a delicious alternative, with grilled chicken breast that is juicy and tender.

While the souvlaki is the star of the show, the menu at Orexi Souvlaki Bar extends beyond just skewers. Their menu includes a range of Mediterranean appetizers, like crispy spanakopita (spinach pie) and dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), each offering a taste of Greece in every bite. There’s also a selection of hearty salads, such as the Greek salad with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and feta cheese, which pairs beautifully with any main dish.

The restaurant has made a name for itself not only for its delicious food but also for its exceptional customer service. Staff members are attentive and friendly, always eager to help you choose the best options on the menu or suggest wine pairings that complement your meal. The vibrant, relaxed vibe ensures that you feel comfortable no matter if you're dining solo, with a partner, or in a group.

The restaurant takes great care in sourcing the freshest vegetables and highest-quality meats, ensuring that every meal is made to order with the utmost attention to detail. Whether you're enjoying a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner, you can rest assured that you're getting the best of Greek cuisine.

As for dessert, don’t miss out on their traditional Greek pastries. The baklava, made with layers of crispy filo pastry, nuts, and honey syrup, is an absolute treat and a perfect way to end your meal. The sweetness of the dessert is balanced by the nutty crunch, making it an irresistible choice for those with a sweet tooth.

Visited Orexi Souvlaki Bar recently and I really enjoyed the charcoal-grilled meat – full of flavour and cooked just right. It's a good spot for family outings with a relaxed atmosphere. The service could be a bit more attentive, but overall, the tasty food made up for it. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving authentic Greek-style souvlaki.

The smell of the charcoal from this place is what lures you in! Ordered a variety of dishes including a gyro, pita plate mixed and the "Mexican" plate. The food was nice, chicken was hot but the lamb was cold. Which is a shame as it did put us off a little (cold fatty lamb isn't great). While the place was 70% full, the older gentleman at the counter could work on his customer service skills. Almost pushing through numbers at the counter.

We gave this place a try as they serve cut lamb gyros. It was great to see them serve a very traditional salad base. Service was prompt and friendly. Small serving was quite substantial, as had not been padded with chips... reflected in the price of $13.50. More seasoning on the meat would be good. Lots of trades having dinner in classic eatery style dining room. The tables were clean, and there's an option to eat out front. Council parking right next door makes takeaway a dream.
